The ambition is to create an exciting but discrete development that will maintain and enhance the character of the site through careful positioning and thoughtful architectural design.

 

The concept behind the proposal is to renovate and extend the existing dwelling that acts as the ‘anchoring’ form on the site and add, alongside, two modern houses that act as subservient ‘outbuildings’.

The proposed dwellings are of high-end design and are approximately 1800 sqft GIA.

 

The proposal is an appropriately prominent but sensitive architectural approach for an under-utilised plot of land.

It aspires to enhance the character of the site and the street scene by creating buildings of architectural merit and integrity that respect the form of development within the local context through its scale, massing, architectural approach and materiality.
